About the Author
SERENE ALLISON and PEARL BARRETT are sisters who share a passion for healthy eating. They both have large boisterous families and love to experiment in the kitchen on ways to best nourish their families and stay slim and healthy in the process. They are former Christian recording artists who traveled extensively for the record label, but they relinquished their touring careers to embrace a life at home with children, dinners, dishes, and diapers. They never looked back.
This book is full of great healthy recipes. There are so many to choose from! 80% of the recipes have beautiful photographs, which are my very favorite when getting a good cookbook. I love that the authors have their own personal touch on this cookbook. Family photos, little jokes, and even little nick names for ingredients. Their personality shine throughout the text of this cookbook. This cookbook is filled with many life style changing recipes. Some of the ingredients are different then your typical item and can be found on their site. If you are leery of that you can always make your own or find the items at the store. Tho they will not be the same and as healthy. It will taste just the same. I really love having a ton of healthy choices. This is a awesome thick cookbook I will cherish for a long time!
