With only 50 calories and 2g of fat this is a great alternative to the regular hot dog full of nitrates and other ingredients you can not pronounce. When I made these I did not let my kids see that they were not the same hotdogs that they eat everyday. About half way through their veggie dogs I announced that they were different and they said they didn't even notice, which surprised the heck out of me. This veggie dog is simply delicious and a great alternative for those that choose to be a meat free lifestyle. These would be great on the grill!
