We received our Strawbees Inventor Kit a couple weeks ago.  My children were very interested in opening the box and getting started right away.  It came with 3' 50 packs of straws, connector pieces, an instruction booklet, and extra fun stickers.  The straws came in 3 different colors in our pack yellow, white, and gray. 

Strawbees is a great kit that encourages hands-on learning and fun.  Children can use the included instruction guide to build inventors or come up with their own. There are so many ways that your little inventor can use the pieces in their kit to make whatever their heart desires.  

The straws included in the kit seem to be a little stronger than your typical straw.  They are the same size so if you need a piece you could use a regular straw with the connector pieces.  My children didn't seem to have the problem getting the connector pieces into the straws but I could see it being harder for younger children.

The projects included in the instruction guide include simple projects to more advanced projects.  The projects are fun and engaging.  You are able to make animals to catapults.  Strawbees can help children with their motor skills through play.   This is a great open-ended play toy with endless opportunities for learning through angles and more.
